being on vacation in cape cod has given much inspiration to this pin board. sandy landscapes, greenery and aqua blue horizons. this is my kind of gathering no matter what the event.
theme: breezy coastal salt soaked air
colors: aqua, sand and blue

top row from left: cupcakes from wedding style guide, couple photo from jose villa, flower bouquet via the brides cafe
row 2: pillow from maihar design, succulent photo and drink from martha stewart weddings, cake table via wedding style guide
row3: rimmed cocktail glasses from instyle weddings, chair place cards from martha steward weddings, faded chair photo by jose villa, bride’s shoes and cake via wedding style guide

i love this table setting. so perfect for a close intimate party or wedding. these apples make me yearn for fall. check out more of this diy wedding from once wed!

…this was too unusual for me not to share! built by artist kevin cyr, i think this is a terrifically, strange idea. i’m thinking that grocery store trips with the kids would be much easier with this bike camper….ok not really…but it would be fun at least. to see more pictures and ideas from kevin click here.

i don’t know about you, but wherever my kids are playing or eating or both, it looks like a garbage dump all around where they work and play. here is a cute mat from land of nod that will help camoflage the mess and help with the clean up when play time is over. really? no food chunks stuck to my hardwood floor or my carpet…thank you!

…made into garden markers! found via apartment therapy and available for purchase from monkeys always look.

…isn’t this an awesome pic? i just love old photos. it makes me wonder what life was like back then. these ladies look like they are up to no good. they must have had some weekend. i am working on saturday and i am going to a pool party on sunday to celebrate the end of cameron’s all-star softball season. what are you doing this weekend?

i think one of the smartest things i have ever done was to join a crop share. i am a member of the roxbury farm community supported agriculture farm in kinderhook, new york. i love it! all of the produce is organic and grown locally just a few miles from my home. they also offer a fruit share every week and organic meats from time to time. it’s a great way to help the environment and to support your local community. to find a csa crop share near you click here.
